Tourist Guide License Renewal/ Update

Title: Sharjah Tourist Guide License Renewal

Training Provider: SCTDA in collaboration with University of Sharjah

Target: All Sharjah tourist guides holding an expired license

Description:

The Sharjah Tourist Guide License Renewal session is for guides who wish to renew their Sharjah Guide License (renewal must be done every 2 years).

Note: failure to renew the license within the stipulated time will result in a fine.

Course Dates*: 2013

*Courses require a minimum number of people to run

Location:

Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization

Fee:

AED 500 including issuance of the new license

Registration:

Applicants must make an appointment with the Destination Development Department (industry training division of SCTDA) and submit in person the following documents (click HERE for location map) during registration hours (Sunday – Thursday 08:00 – 12:30):

• Passport copy (including visa page for expatriates)
• Copy of family book & national ID card (UAE Nationals only)
• 2 passport-size colour photographs
• NOC letter if participant is attending as an employee of a tour company
• Copy of current tour guide license or certificate
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Completed application form (CLICK HERE to download)
• Qualified Education  Certificate
• Good Standing Certificate *

*Note: Copy of Police Clearance Certificate (required before beginning of course)
