Restaurants
A cosmopolitan fusion of flavours can be found in Sharjah, at prices to suit all budgets. Choose from local and international restaurants and cafés, numerous fast food chains, street side shawarma stands and classic Indian and Pakistani curry houses found throughout the city. The larger hotels serve Arabic and international cuisine in their restaurants and coffee shops, offering buffets and theme nights. The majority of fast food outlets and popular restaurants welcome children, and some have a special kids menu. Alcohol and pork are not available in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Restaurants are spread throughout the city whilst cafés tend to be concentrated around Al Buheirah Corniche, alongside the Khaled Lagoon and Al Qasba, or in the shopping centres.
Most hotel based restaurants and coffee shops offer Arabic and international food, and there are restaurants to be found in the most significant tourist destinations.
